Thank You Jeremy.

Dear Jeremy,
It has been 1month 7days since your departure from all your friends and loved ones, but each and everyone of them still misses you as much, if not even more. How time flies...though its been 2years since we last met up or even contacted each other, I will never forget the fun times we had. Back to those poly days, how you, your friends and I mugged for our final year exams at a void deck near Bishan area, having study breaks in between, dropping by convenient shop to buy drinks or chocolates..and yes I remember you telling me that you love chocolate and could eat it everyday.
On top of that, how could I forget the Halloween Party which we attended, with you dressing up as a Pirate and bragging to me that the 'Parang' was DIY by yourself. It has never occurred to me then, that your passion for the Sea has given you the idea of dressing up as that, but now I do...despite dressing up, I remember teasing you that you don't have to go through all the trouble, because with your BIG HEAD, you've already fitted very well into the Halloween theme, and you retaliate saying that I can go without make up and pass off as a ' Xiong Mao Jing'(Panda-Jinx).
There are so many funny things that you did and said, till date I can never forget, like mimicking me, in an irritating high-pitched tone when lam calling out for Joyce..., and theres also this particular conversation which we shared..if given a choice would I pick a Diamond or a Dog? My answer was Diamond of course! and it irritates you so much because no matter how cute or good you describe the dog to be, I'll stick to my answer very firmly, and your reaction was truely amusing.
Having known him since poly days, albeit his tanned, manly sunshine outlook, and putting aside all the lame crappy jokes he cracked, theres a very gentle side of Jeremy too..on one particular rainy day, while we were walking, this silly guy went around removing snails from the pathway, asking why he did that..his reply was to prevent anyone from stepping on the snails...such a thoughtful person.. instantly I felt ashamed ,and told him that when I was young and ignorant, I used to put salt on snails to see how it dissolves into a puddle of water. He stared at me in disbelief..and term me as an evil snail killer.Well..Jeremy, I'll promise to stop anyone from doing that evil deed too. There is also this childhood story he finds amusing, which I can only recall vividly, about how his dad took him and his elder sis and bro to a pet shop, where everyone gets to choose a pet, and despite being the youngest in the family, he picked the biggest rabbit, in the end the pet was too much for them to take care, and had to be returned to the pet shop..
Jeremy...losing you without even having the chance to say goodbye, leaves me feeling remorseful.Nonetheless .. You have been such a loyal and great friend...I am sorry that my message of appreciation came a little too late.I have always enjoy your companionship and I hope you did too...

Chun
